Dr. Nour Kabbani is a dedicated proponent of classical Islamic learning, committed to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Islamic sciences and traditional teaching methodologies across the globe. He studied under his father, the world-renowned spiritual guide Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani, at the Institute for Spirituality and Cultural Advancement in Burton, Michigan. From Shaykh Kabbani, Dr. Nour was granted Ijāza (authorization) to lead gatherings of counsel, remembrance of Allah, and adherence to the noble Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

Alongside his religious training, Dr. Nour pursued a career in medicine. He earned his M.D. in Internal Medicine from the University of Marmara in Istanbul, Turkey, and went on to complete a three-year residency at Columbia University in New York City. He then practiced for over two decades in Chicago, balancing his medical profession with his service to the spiritual and educational needs of the community.

A follower of the Ḥanafī school of jurisprudence, Dr. Kabbani is frequently invited both nationally and internationally to speak on topics of Islamic sciences, creed, and ethics, inspiring audiences with his unique blend of scholarly depth and spiritual wisdom. His teaching journeys have taken him throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, in addition to a full schedule of programs across North America.
