Safar is the second month of the Islamic calendar. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ called it ‘Safar al-Khayr’. A great number of previous nations perished during this month. Complete this adab daily with the intention of being protected and safeguarded, and in particular on the last Wednesday of this month, about which Grandshaykh (q) said, “On the last Wednesday of the month of Safar 70,000 bala (afflictions) are sent down to earth. The person who keeps the recitations [for this month] will be protected by Allah (swt).”
