Because they believed in the unseen.\u00a0 When the Prophet (s) came he said: \u00a0Believe in God, and so did Jesus \u00a1 and Moses \u00a1 when they came.\u00a0 Belief, therefore, is in the unseen.\u00a0 When it is seen, at that time it is not a belief but an evidence.<\/p>\n<p>At that time you accept because you saw something, and this is not accepted.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever your Shaykh says, do not say \u201c<i>muhaqqaq<\/i>\u201d or \u201ctrue!\u201d with your tongue.\u00a0 Your heart has to accept.\u00a0 The way is to try to accept what he is telling you without using your mind.\u00a0 Keep faith in what he is telling you.<\/p>\n<p>If your heart does not accept, then you are not going to benefit anything.\u00a0 We have to show our Shaykh, who knows how we sleep even as we sleep, that we truly believe in him.\u00a0 Do you think that our Shaykh is someone like us?\u00a0<i>Hasha<\/i>! (God forbid), Once, Grandshaykh said: \u00a0\u201cIf an ant is moving on top of a smooth rock in the West and I am in the East, I can hear her footsteps in my ear as I hear the crack of thunder.\u201d\u00a0 And he said: \u00a0\u201cWe \u2013 the Shaykhs of the Naqshband\u012b order \u2013 can hear and feel the movements of our murids, no matter what they are doing, as loud as if we heard thunder!\u201d And he said: \u00a0\u201cKeep respect when you are sleeping in bed with your wife, because we are hearing and seeing everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We are all under the same Shaykh, and that Shaykh is presently holding all power of this Way in his hand before the Last Days.\u00a0 If you do not know this, we know this.\u00a0 All the power that has been given to Naqshbandi saints from the Prophet (s) has now been pulled out of their hands and placed in Mawl\u0101n\u0101 Shaykh N\u0101zim\u2019s hands.\u00a0 Other saints cannot proceed except by way of miraculous power, and the Prophet (s) is no longer accepting to show any miraculous power in the present day.\u00a0 As he has foretold in had\u012bth, corruption and oppression are exprected to finally govern this world.\u00a0 If you use miraculous power, you will take away that corruption; but that corruption has to reach its ultimate.\u00a0 That is the reason Mawl\u0101n\u0101 Shaykh N\u0101zim is patient and more patient.\u00a0 When you see him in reality, at that time all of us are going to melt as salt melts in water.\u00a0 Keep then respect to your Shaykh in your heart.<\/p>\n<p>You are under your Shaykh\u2019s supervision for twenty-four hours.\u00a0 You can never move out of his sight.\u00a0 He is looking at you.\u00a0 He is looking at you when you are moving here and there.\u00a0 Yet this is nothing: \u00a0he can hear the secrets that come into your heart and the secrets that you keep in the recess of your heart as if it were thunder.\u00a0 Leave this also: \u00a0in every person\u2019s heart there are five levels.\u00a0 The first level is\u00a0<i>Maqamul Qalb<\/i>, the Station of the Heart.\u00a0 Satan can enter through that level and understand what you are doing: \u00a0that is why you sometimes have bad thoughts.\u00a0 You are distracted in prayer, you cheat at work or feel suspicion\u2026<\/p>\n<p>There is a higher level: \u00a0the Station of Secrets (<i>Maqam as-Sirr<\/i>).\u00a0 They now have the distinction between the conscious and the subconscious.\u00a0 The second is that place in your inner mind where you bury things.\u00a0 It is a scientific expression for the second level in the heart: \u00a0it knows information, and God has given every human being a secret.\u00a0 We are created and honored by our Lord Who has created us from His light and the light of the Prophet (s) and the light of Adam \u00a1.<\/p>\n<p>Human beings are honored beings.\u00a0 They are created on perfection.\u00a0 God said,<i>\u00a0\u201cI have honored human beings\u201d<\/i>\u00a0(Al-Isra\u2019 70).\u00a0 With what kind of honor? Perfection in creation.\u00a0 In many ahad\u012bth, the Prophet (s) speaks of his Lord in terms of a human being: \u00a0\u201cI saw my Lord coming to me smiling.\u201d\u00a0 It does not mean that He is a human being, nor that He is in any way like human beings \u2013 rather it is an indication of the perfection that human beings have been created to attain.<\/p>\n<p>No one can know with what secrets He has endowed the light that He has put into your heart.\u00a0 That is what the teachings of the Naqshband\u012b order wants to bring out.\u00a0Divine Law (<i>Shar\u012b\u2018ah)<\/i>\u00a0teaches you the rudiments of how to fight Satan and throw him out of your heart.\u00a0The Path (<i>Tar\u012bqah<\/i>) keeps Divine Law and goes to a higher level \u2013 to extract the secret which God has given to your heart.\u00a0 This extraction is the duty of the Shaykh.\u00a0 This cannot be given to you except through seclusion, and the Shaykh can hear and know what is going on at the second level.<\/p>\n<p>The third level is the Secret of the Secret (<i>Maqam Sirr as-Sirr<\/i>), then come the fourth level, the Hidden (<i>Maqam Khafa<\/i>) and the fifth level, the Most Hidden (<i>Maqam Akhfa<\/i>).\u00a0 No one can enter the third level except the masters of the Naqshband\u012b order.\u00a0 Masters of the forty other orders can enter the second level only.\u00a0 No one but the Prophet (s) can enter the fourth level, and the fifth level is known to God alone, Who alone knows how He has honored that human being.<\/p>\n<p>You can see how human beings are honored beings.\u00a0 There is no discrimination in God\u2019s sight at that level: \u00a0there is no Muslim; there is no Christian; there is no Jew; there is no Buddhist; there is no Hindu.\u00a0 There is only:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"rtl\" align=\"center\">\u0648\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0627 \u0623\u064e\u0631\u0652\u0633\u064e\u0644\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0627\u0643\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0627 \u0631\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0629\u064b \u0644\u0650\u0651\u0644\u0652\u0639\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064e\u0645\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"center\"><i>Wa maa arsalnaaka illa rahmatan lil-\u2019Aalameen<\/i><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><i>\u201cWe have sent you as a mercy for all human beings\u201d\u00a0<\/i>(al-Anbiya\u2019 107).<\/p>\n<p>There is no differentiation at that level. Discrimination is from us.\u00a0 It is we who say: \u00a0\u201cThey are Jews\u201d; \u201cThey are Christians\u201d; Christians say: \u00a0\u201cThese are Muslims\u201d; \u201cThese are Jews.\u201d\u00a0 But there are no such things in God\u2019s eyes.\u00a0 There are only human beings \u2013 period.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"rtl\">\u0625\u0650\u0646 \u0643\u064f\u0644\u064f\u0651 \u0645\u064e\u0646 \u0641\u0650\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0633\u064e\u0651\u0645\u064e\u0627\u0648\u064e\u0627\u062a\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0652\u0623\u064e\u0631\u0652\u0636\u0650 \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0627 \u0622\u062a\u0650\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0631\u064e\u0651\u062d\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0646\u0650 \u0639\u064e\u0628\u0652\u062f\u064b\u0627<\/p>\n<p><i>In kullu man fi \u2018s-samaawaati wa \u2018l-ardi illa atee ar-rahmani \u2018abda<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave.<\/i>\u00a0(19:93 )<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/center><\/p>\n<p><span>You are not allowed to speak ill of your brothers and sisters, as all of us are sons and daughters of Adam and Eve! You would be interfering in God\u2019s judgment.\u00a0 But you are not the judge: \u00a0God is the Judge.\u00a0 Don\u2019t interfere, therefore, in God\u2019s ways by giving your opinion.\u00a0 God will not ask for your opinion in the Judgment Day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If God says, I want to put everyone who has faith and love of Him in Paradise, who can say to Him, \u201cWhat are You doing?\u201d and if He says, \u201cI want to punish everyone,\u201d who can say to Him, \u201cWhat are You doing?\u201d No one.\u00a0 And do you think that God has created us to punish us? Is He Someone revengeful, Someone who likes revenge or punishment? Someone who created His servants in order to torture them? Do you accept this view? It is impossible.\u00a0 God is merciful, and He is keeping His mercy for His servants.\u00a0 The Prophet (s) said: \u00a0\u201cThe loveliest time in my life is when God calls me by the name of \u201cservant\u201d or \u201cslave\u201d \u2013 \u00a0<i>\u2018abd\u00a0<\/i>\u2026.and He tells me, \u201cCome, O my servant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mawl\u0101n\u0101 Shaykh N\u0101zim is teaching us how to be good servants.\u00a0 Why are we not accepting and obeying? We come here and sit hours and hours, day and night, in order to get something.\u00a0 Everything we want to get depends on servanthood.\u00a0 He is teaching us to be servants, not to be \u2013 as he said yesterday \u2013 mighty.\u00a0 The title Mighty belongs to God.\u00a0 We are servants.\u00a0 Moreover we are, as he also said, weak and helpless servants.\u00a0 We cannot do anything.\u00a0 That is why God has given the Prophet (s) intercession, and the Prophet (s) said:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"RTL\" align=\"left\">\u0634\u0641\u0627\u0639\u062a\u064a \u0644\u0623\u0647\u0644 \u0627\u0644\u0643\u0628\u0627\u0626\u0631 \u0645\u0646 \u0623\u0645\u062a\u064a<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy intercession is for the sinners of my nation\u201d<sup><a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/naqshbandi.org\/suhba\/shmk\/role_of_the_shaykh.htm#_ftn3\">[1]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>We are weak and cannot be perfect, but we have to teach ourselves to accept what our Shaykh says and to polish our hearts.<\/p>\n<p>Shaykhs do not depend on us.\u00a0 They depend on their power which God has given to the Prophet (s) and which the Prophet (s) has given, to them.\u00a0 That is why God said: \u00a0\u201cCome to me one step, I will come to you ninety-nine steps.\u201d\u00a0 Come to your Shaykh one step, you will find him running towards you ninety-nine steps.\u00a0 When you do not want to come to him one step, how can he come to you? He will not come.\u00a0 You have to show progress on your part.<\/p>\n<p>Grandshaykh\u2019s order for everyone to enter seclusion must be understood in this context.\u00a0 Everyone must teach himself how to polish his heart.\u00a0 We cannot enter seclusion now.\u00a0 All of us are sinners and no one is asking really from his heart to enter into seclusion.\u00a0 For that reason, there are other ways.\u00a0 Mawl\u0101n\u0101 Shaykh N\u0101zim is showing us ways in order to pull us towards him fast.\u00a0 Some people ride on donkeys, some people on horses, some people in cars, some people on planes, and some people on rockets.\u00a0 The faster you can go, the faster you can approach.<\/p>\n<p>Grandshaykh said: \u00a0I shall teach you a way to approach me very quickly.\u00a0 Whenever you are coming and sitting in an association, or you are praying at night, or by day, or you are making\u00a0<i>dhikr<\/i>, or reading Qur\u2019\u0101n or had\u012bth, or doing anything, when you sit, say:<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<table border=\"0\" width=\"78%\" cellspacing=\"1\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><i>Nawaytu\u2018l-Arba\u2019\u012bn<\/i><\/td>\n<td>I intend the Forty Days<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><i>Nawaytu\u2018l-\u2018Itik\u0101f\u00a0<\/i><\/td>\n<td>I intend retreat<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><i>Nawaytu\u2018l-Khalwah\u00a0<\/i><\/td>\n<td>I intend seclusion<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><i>Nawaytu\u2018l-\u2019Uzlah<\/i><\/td>\n<td>I intend isolation<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><i>Nawaytur-Riy\u0101dah<\/i><\/td>\n<td>I intend devotion<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><i>Nawaytus-Sul\u016bk\u00a0<\/i><\/td>\n<td>I intend discipline<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><i>Nawaytus-Siy\u0101m<\/i><\/td>\n<td>I intend abstinence<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><i>Fi hadha\u2018l-Masjid<\/i><\/td>\n<td>In this place of worship,<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><i>li-ll\u0101hi Ta\u2019\u0101la<\/i><\/td>\n<td>for the sake of God the Exalted.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Prophet (s) used to make a similar intention when he did retreat in the cave before revelation came to him.\u00a0 When all Companions of the Prophet (ra) and all grandmasters entered seclusion, they made this intention.\u00a0 When you make this intention for this meeting of ours, which lasts one hour, this hour will be deducted from the forty day seclusion which is an obligation on everyone of us.\u00a0 Make that intention before sitting at any meeting: \u00a0it will take you to your Shaykh like a rocket.<\/p>\n<p>How many years have you been sitting with Mawl\u0101n\u0101 Shaykh N\u0101zim? If you added up all these years, having made that intention, you will never leave the room except that it be written for you that you have spent two, or three, or five hours in seclusion.\u00a0 This will be deducted from the forty day seclusion.\u00a0 When you finish the forty days in this way, you will find that the light which God has given to you in your heart will be opened.\u00a0 It is that light which is going to open the eyes of the heart.\u00a0 Without this, you will never find the happiness that is now hidden in your heart.\u00a0 You must bring it out, and this is one \u201chook\u201d to do that.\u00a0 Use it every time you sit with the Shaykh.<\/p>\n<p>And from God is all success.<\/p>\n<p>Wa mina-ll\u0101hit-tawf\u012bq bi hurmat\u00ec\u2018l-F\u0101tihah.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/naqshbandi.org\/suhba\/shmk\/role_of_the_shaykh.htm#_ftnref3\">[1]<\/a>\u00a0Ahmad, at-Tirm\u012bdh\u012b, Ab\u016b D\u0101wud, at-Tabar\u0101n\u012b, Khat\u012bb, al-Bayhaq\u012b, H\u0101kim, as-Suy\u016bt\u012b.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Role of the ShaykhWhy are some called believers?
