Those that are found in every year after the days of Ramadan are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the Day of `Arafat [= 9th of Dhul-Hijjah]<\/li>\n<li>the Day of `Ashura\u2019 [= 10th of Muharram]<\/li>\n<li>the first Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah<\/li>\n<li>the first ten days of Muharram<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And all the sacred months are preferred for fasting\u2026 and they are:<br \/>Dhul-Qi`da, Dhul-Hijjah, Muharram, and Rajab.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>First Ten Days &amp; Nights of Dhul-Hijjah<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>`Abd Allah ibn Mas`ud said: The Prophet \ufdfa said: \u201cThere are no days in the year in which deeds are more meritorious than in the Ten\u00a0Days [i.e. the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah].\u201d Someone asked: \u201cNot even Jihad in the path of Allah?\u201d He replied: \u201cNot even Jihad in the path of Allah.\u201d Haythami said: \u201cTabarani narrated it in\u00a0<em>al-Mu`jam al-kabir<\/em>\u00a0and the narrators in its chain of transmission are all those of sound (<em>sahih<\/em>) narrations.<\/p>\n<p>The nights are included in the mention of the days. Allah swore an oath by them when He said: \u201c<em>By the Dawn! By Ten Nights!<\/em>\u201d (89:1-2) and the authors of\u00a0<em>Tafsir al-Jalalayn<\/em>\u00a0said: \u201cThey are the first ten nights of Dhul-Hijjah.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Fasting on<em>\u00a0Yawmu `Arafah<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Abu Hafsah (r)\u00a0reported that the Prophet (s)\u00a0said:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"prophet\">\n<p><span class=\"hadith\">\u201cFasting on the Day of\u00a0<em>`Arafah<\/em>\u00a0absolves the sins for two years: the previous year and the coming year, and fasting on\u00a0<em>`Ashura<\/em>, (the tenth day of\u00a0Muharram) atones for the sins of previous years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<footer>Reported by all except Al-Bukhari and At-Tirmidhi<\/footer>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In another saying the Prophet\u2019s wife Hafsah,\u00a0(r), said:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"scholar\">\n<p><span class=\"salaf\">\u201cFour things the Prophet of Allah (s) never neglected: Observing fast on the day of\u00a0<em>`Ashura<\/em>, `<em>Arafat<\/em>, three days every month, and offering\u00a0<em>Fajr sunnah\u00a0<\/em>prayers early in the morning.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<footer>(Muslim)<\/footer>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/naqshbandi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Dua-Arafat.nqsh_.pdf\" title=\"DUA ARAFAH\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/naqshbandi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/PDF_icon.svg_-150x150.png\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4104 aligncenter size-thumbnail\" style=\"float: left;\" \/>Du`a<\/em> (Supplication) on the Day of Arafah<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><span>MAWLANA SHAYKH HISHAM KABBANI <\/span><br \/><span><em>Du`a<\/em> at Arafah <\/span><span>after Khatm al-Khawajagan, Hajj 2011.]<\/span><br \/><span>Any gathering here, in this area particularly, is equal to 100,000 gatherings for the sake of Allah (\ufdfb) anywhere else. This <em>dhikr<\/em> is equal to 100,000 gatherings of <em>dhikr<\/em>. The <em>dhikr<\/em> we made at Ka`bah is also equal to 100,000. <em>Insh\u0101-Allah<\/em>, all those who came with us from anywhere around the world under Mawlana Shaykh Nazim\u2019s name, and those who are not here, are dressed with the blessings of Hajj al-Akbar. The Prophet (\ufdfa) prayed Zhuhr and `Asr combined in Masjid Namirah, which we just did earlier, and then after that he would come here and make his <em>du`\u0101.<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Offering a Sacrifice (<em>Qurban<\/em>)<\/h3>\n<footer><em>\u201cIt is not their meat, nor their blood, that reaches Allah, It is their piety that reaches Allah.\u201d<\/em>(<a>Surat al-Hajj:37<\/a>)<\/footer>\n<footer><\/footer>\n<footer><\/footer>\n<footer><\/footer>\n<footer><\/footer>\n<footer>Zaid bin Arqam (r) narrated: the Companions of the Prophet (s) said: \u201cO Prophet of Allah, what are these sacrifices?\u201d He (s) said, \u201cThe\u00a0<em>Sunnah<\/em>\u00a0of your father Ibrahim. It is\u00a0<em>wajib<\/em>\u00a0(obligatory) in the Hanafi\u00a0<em>madhhab<\/em>\u00a0and therefore required of every person who is required to perform Jum`a, i.e. healthy male residents of the region in which it is performed.<\/p>\n<p>It is a Sunnah\u00a0<em>mu\u2019akkada<\/em>\u00a0and, in the Hanafi\u00a0<em>madhhab<\/em>, a\u00a0<em>wajib<\/em>, for every adult Muslim man and woman to sacrifice at least one\u00a0<em>shat<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 a sheep or a goat \u2014 for `Eid al-Adha. This may be done any time after the prayer on the first day of `Eid until sunset on the last of the two days following the first day. One may have someone else perform the sacrifice on his behalf, whether in his presence or in absentia.<\/p>\n<p>It is recommended not to eat anything on the day of `Eid al-Adha until one perform the Prayer.<\/p>\n<p>It is recommended to perform\u00a0<em>ghusl<\/em>\u00a0(major ablution) before the prayer, any time after Fajr even if one does not attend the prayer.<\/p>\n<p>It is recommended for men to dress their best and wear perfume. It is Sunnah to come to the mosque early and on foot, and to return home by a different route. It is preferable for a `Eid Congregation to pray outdoors.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/sunnah.org\/wp\/2017\/08\/25\/the-black-stone\/\">The Black Stone: A Blessing from the Hereafter<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<h4>Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani<\/h4>\n<p>Allah \u2018s right over human beings is that they make hajj to His Holy House at Mecca. \u201c<em>Pilgrimage to the House is an obligation on people towards Allah for one who is able to find a way to do it.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0[3: 97]<\/p>\n<p>Here Allah swt emphasizes that it is His right\u2013an essential duty on people\u2013to make the pilgrimage for His Sake, stressing its importance and making it the fifth pillar of Islam\u2026 [<a href=\"http:\/\/sunnah.org\/wp\/2017\/08\/25\/the-black-stone\/\">read the remainder of the article<\/a>]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/185EsTAA2vMBLT3Dhl2Pl7x2Ngb-gUKHNkM7WmCo7DPg\/edit?usp=sharing\">Come to Allah through the Prophet (s)<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<h4>Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani<\/h4>\n<p>Allah made it a condition, as for sure everyone is an oppressor to himself and that\u2019s why He said,\u00a0<i>law annahum idh zhalamoo anfusahum<\/i>, He wants to give\u00a0<i>Ummat an-Nabi<\/i>\u00a0(s) a way out, and He said,\u00a0<i>jaa`ooka,<\/i>\u00a0\u201cThey come to you,\u00a0<i>yaa<\/i>\u00a0Muhammad.\u201d\u00a0<i>Yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah\u00a0<\/i>(s), we are calling you from here! We are oppressors to ourselves, is there any other door to come to?
