AHBASH STATES:

Qubrusi says in his book: MercyOceans, p.9:

"Allah Almighty called Muhammad (peace be upon him) to His Divine presence, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) went as ordered, just as a dignitary is received by the Queen of England."

Isay: These words are very abhorrent! They contain equating the Queen of England to Allah and likening the Creator to the creation. How dare he draw similarities when Allah, the Exalted, said:

(An-Nahl, 74)

which means: [Do not claim anything similar to Allah.]

Wa ba`du adda`I multamasun Shifahu

Wa da’ul humqi laysa lahu shifa’u

Some ailments have cure that can be found

But for stupidity, it has no cure

How could anyone possibly think that any average Muslim let alone a Scholar and a Muslim Leader say that Allah is like the queen of England or like anyone else or his creators.

Let’s re-read the statement but this time without prejudice. The Shaykh is addressing certain people and a certain culture (the talk is in England for English converts). Shaykh was telling them about the Ascension of Prophet(s) and the preparation that took place in heaven for his honor.

However, just like the quran and the Sunnah, the Shaykh is teaching by example.

The Quran is full of example, so is the Sunnah.

For instance in the Quran- Surat al-nur Ayat 35

And Allah setforth parables for men

And many other ayat with the same meaning.
