Technology, Knowledge and Sayyidina al-Mahdi

“Verily a day in your Lord’s estimation is like 1000 years of what they count.” [22: 47]

The description of a day equaling 1000 years is the Quran’s eloquent way of describing Allah’s Greatness versus our smallness. It means whatever they whatever measure of time they calculate or imagine, it is only as one day (or less) in Allah’s evaluation. It is nothing. They measure distances in light years – that is a measure of distance based on time – the time light, traveling at 300,000 kilometers per second, travels in one year. They speak of galactic distances of millions,  even billions of light years. According to what they measure it is great, but to Allah it is nothing.

Awliya can be in 12,000 places at once. The forty Abdal of Sham, can be in the West and the East at the same time.

They make satellite telephones now. Many years ago, before satellites, one wali, Shaykh Ahmad Haroun, took his belt of his shalwar [baggy traditional pantaloons], put it to his ear like this [places hand on ear], “Hallo! Hallo!” He was speaking to someone person 400 km. away, in Halab (Aleppo), “Come here now, I want to see you now.”

Four hours later, we heard, ‘knock, knock.’ A person was knocking at the door of the zawiya saying, “Shaykh Haroun just called me by phone to come right away.”

 

Knowledge of the awliya

If Allah wants to show us what He gave to prophets, and from prophets to saints, awliya, it will leave people amazed - stunned in wonderment. If Allah gives permission, awliya can make the sun rise from the West – but there is no permission for that now. That is something that will occur in the Last Days.

Awliya wait for the permission of the Prophet (s) before acting. From Prophet that knowledge is transmitted to awliya.

Al-Mahdi is for Ahl as-Sunna wal-Jama`at, for all Muslims, for all humanity.  The Prophet (s) said, “Al-mahdiun minnee” – “Mahdi is from me.” All hadith books mentioned that he will come in the Last Days of the world. We are waiting and praying that will be soon.

It is written there on the wall, I don’t know who put it there, “Allah talks to those willing to listen.” It means that those willing to listen, Allah inspired them.  What did Allah inspire them with? From the knowledge of the awliya, as I explained before, comes the knowledge of the embryo stem cells. They are giving them a bit of that smell from what is coming at the End of Days. And this is nothing - in the time of Mahdi, it will be nothing.

They are working only with what already exists. They cannot work with what does not exist. Light exists. They are developing something based on light, which is something that exists. They did not create it, nor did Allah consult them.. They must not think that they are, “rabbukum al-`ala” – “thy Lord the most high.” Allah said, “Is He who creates like one that does not create?” [16:17] Man began to think himself Lord of human beings, such a tyrant.

What did Allah do with Pharoah? They must know that the attitude of ultimate arrogance will result in their downfall. Through their arrogance, thinking themselves great because of science they bring themselves to their ruin. A day is coming, Judgment Day, when all will be brought down in the final earthquake of the Hour and nothing remain of this dunya.

Remember in Surat an-Nahl, [Shaykh begins to leaf through the Quran], “awalam yarau anna Allaha qaadirun `ala an yakhluqu mithlahum.” – “Have they not seen that Allah has the power to create the like of them.” [17: 99]

It means whatever is in heavens and earth, human, and animals, He can  “create the like of them,” as Allah mentioned in this Surah “Children of Israel”. He can create them exactly the same as they used to be. When I opened the Quran, that verse came up – though I was looking for something else.

“There is not a population but We shall destroy it before the Day of Judgment” [17:58] and in the end the only use of that new technology is to destroy everything. What they are developing brings about their own destruction.

They “discovered” some of the secrets of the structure of the atom, and look what happened. Instead of using it for the benefit of mankind, they developed a way to eliminate mankind.

May Allah keep us and protect us. Amin.
