On
October 14, 2003, Jamaluddin B. Hoffman, Director of Public Affairs for
the Islamic Supreme Council, and Imam Sahib Mahmoud of As-Siddiq Institute
and Mosque, delivered a lecture at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan
entitled, “Islam: the Way of Peace."
 A group from As-Siddiq joined the two principal speakers in a traditional Sufi chant and a reading of the Koran. This presentation on Islam was delivered within the context of two Liberal Studies Department classes taught by Joseph Richard Preville and Badrinath Rao.
It was a beautiful gift to the education of the talented students at Kettering University! |
