On November 24th, 1997, Shaykh Hisham Kabbani visited the Naqshbandi Retreat Center in Aachen, Germany. Presented here is an album of his visit.

A group of German murids, all reverts to Islam, join the shaykh in congregational invocation before partaking of a lovely midnight meal.
|The ladies, all reverts to Islam, prepared an excellent meal for the shaykh and his entourage.|

The retreat center, formerly a bed and breakfast style inn, has a very large, well-equipped kitchen, dormitories, guest rooms, a large prayer hall and excellent facilities. Located in a quiet village in the German countryside, it is the focus for many Sufi activities, retreats, conferences and workshops throughout the year, focussing on introducing non-Muslims to the spiritual side of Islam.

Orhan Effendi fires away. The brothers are well-trained in marksmanship and other Islamic martial arts from the Tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (saws).
