Taken by private bus to visit maqams and madrasas of Sayyidina Arif (q), Sayyidina ‘Ali al-Ramitani (q), Sayyidina Muhammad Baba as-Samasi (q), Sayyidina Anjir and Sayyidina Muhammad Baba As-Samasi.

At the maqam of Sayyidina Abdul-Khaliq, the Mufti of Bukhara showed Shaykh Hisham, travelers, the door of the Ka`aba, reported to have come to Ghujdavan to make tawaf of this grandshaykh's maqam.
Shaykh Hisham spent a great deal of time praying for the saint and asking Allah for his sake to shower mercy on the people of Uzbekistan and its honored president Islam Karimov.

Reconstruction and decoration work were in progress at the maqam of Sayyidina Mahmoud.

Important NOTE: Every mosque, madrasa and maqam visited undergoing complete renovation and restoration. Fact: during Soviet times many of these blessed and historic shrines lost. Teacher of Mufti of Bukhara informed government of their locations; now government doing utmost to restore these beautiful monuments to Allah’s religion to former luster. Contrary to what government’s opponents claim, “out to destroy Islam, etc”, government in fact shown zealous devotion to revival and restoration of Islamic beliefs, faith through education of its citizens.

Tuesday night - Governor personally hosted Shaykh Hisham at table with other UNESCO delegates. 

Magnificent special dinner served, folkloric entertainment, fashion show displaying traditional Uzbek costumes. Located in historic location of an old madrasa recently renovated as a guest house.
