At the recommendation of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim the Jenda Baik Retreat Center was built in traditional wooden style from jungle hardwoods, raised high on stilts to avoid the floods of monsoons season.

This center is an oasis of spiritual blessing and quietude far from the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur - a place where monthly retreats are held in which mureeds are able to occupy themselves with meditation (muraqabah), remembrance (dhikr), self-inventory (muhasabah) and prayer (salaat).

Dr. Azhari introduces Shaykh Hisham, who first prays for his late father,  after which he begins recitation of Qasidat al-Burdah to begin the night's commemoration of the birth of Allah's Chosen Servant Muhammad, upon whom be peace and choicest praise and blessings.

Mawlid is recited with deep fervor and love for Sayyidina Muhammad,

upon whom be peace and choicest blessings of God.

New Muslims take Shahada and initiation into the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi Order.
