| The Rais al-`ulama of Thailand highest religious authority for the 3 million Muslims in Thailand made a special visit to Kuala Lumpur to meet Shaykh Hisham. He was accompanied by the grand Mufti of Thailand and Qadi al-Shar`, Shaykh Muhammad Ramli Hajj Husain. | ||

Both mashaykh took initiation into the Naqshbandi Order and will be implementing the teachings of the order throughout Thailand. The rais directs over 400 Islamic schools and over 3000 ulama. He extended an open invitation to Shaykh Hisham to visit him in Thailand and to make a tour of the Islamic educational institutions he has so assiduously built up through the hard work and dedication of Thai Muslims. |
