Britain's Prince Charles was the guest of honour at a celebration of Sufi Muslim culture yesterday (08.02.10). The future king was greeted by artists, religious leaders and musicians as he arrived at Manchester United's Old Trafford ground, before being taken into a hall. Once inside he was entertained by whirlers in traditional dress, who performed a musical recitation of the Holy Quran. Host Sheikh Mohammed Hisham Kabbani, spiritual leader of the Sufi Muslim order, told Charles how he and his mother Queen Elizabeth were in their "hearts".
